Indonesia: Natural Hot Springs in Bali

I scream, you scream, we all scream for HOT SPRINGS!

Indonesia is made up of more than 17,000 islands, set atop of shifting tectonic plates. This shifting is responsible for much of the geothermal activities that can be found in Indonesia, most famously, hot springs and volcanos. These hot springs have become a sensational destination for all travelers, great for pictures and rumored to have healing powers.

Indonesia: The Ubud Monkey Forest

The monkey has classically been known as the troublemaker in many cultures. As access to monkeys is limited for many people, most people won’t know how true this is.

Bali is filled with monkeys just waiting for gullible tourists to come along. Grabbing sunglasses off of heads, taking a child’s toy, grasping for plastic water bottles, and stealing any food in the vicinity is a common sight to see. This will be true anywhere, but in the Ubud Monkey Forest, the monkeys are safer to visit.

Indonesia: Bali, Paradise or Overrated?

Bali, a land of white sand, green mountains, warm weather, and sweet-smelling flowers. Or, at least it used to be.

Going to Bali, I expected it to be paradise on earth – nearly unrivaled. This thought changed quickly. Tourism has destroyed this once pristine island, tourism and poor handling of its excess amount of people.
