Sunsets over the Liffey ———————— Has anyone heard of Marie Kondo? Lately it feels like I’ve been dragged down by the new year and that anxiety has taken over my daily routines. I thought I needed to find something small in my life to fix and things would get better from there. Enter: Marie Kondo For those who don’t know her, Marie Kondo is a bestselling author, has a show on Netflix, and even had a shout out in the Gilmore Girls revival. She teaches people how to find peace and happiness within the medium of tidying. She says that one should only keep things that spark joy. At first I made fun of that idea, but later I realized that she was right. I organized and tidied my room with the KonMari method and somehow it settled my brain a bit. It made my room a welcoming place to come back to, an organized part of my world where I often feel so disorganized. My favorite part of my room? My travel wall, filled with pictures and mementos of my time abroad, where I can look back and smile at the memories, but also look forward toward my new adventures and be excited for the future. —————————— #travel #travelblogger #travelbloggerlife #travelgram #travelholic #travelinsta #instatravel #ireland #dublin #dublinireland #ireland🍀 #sunset #wanderlust #thegeekygallivant #mariekondo #womenwhotravel #travelgirl #tidyingupwithmariekondo #konmari #konmarimethod #summeratucd
